Ingredients for Mohanthal Halwa:
- Gram flour: ¼ kg
- Milk: 1 liter
- Khoya: ¼ kg
- Desi ghee: ¼ kg
- Cardamon powder: 1 tbsp
- Pistachios: 20 in quantity in fine crushed form
- Sugar: 200 g
- Almonds: 20 in quantity chopped
- Food color orange: 1 pinch
- Saffron: 1 pinch
- Semolina: 50 gram
How to cook Mohanthal Halwa?
First of all heat the desi ghee in utensil and add cardamon powder, gram flour and semolina and fry them.
When they fried and you feel tempting fragrance of it then adds khoya in it.
Move the spoon gently in it.
When the mixture turned light brown then turn off the stove.
Now add almonds, sugar, milk, food color and saffron in it.
Mix it well.
Now dish out this mixture and spread pistachios on it.
Leave it to cool.
Now cut it in square pieces.
